THE SUMMER OF DISCONTENT

Hello again. I haven't posted anything for a while because I have been involved in my own personal voyage of change. I have found that some days are pretty bumpy and perhaps you have had the same experience. Life really feels as though it's speeding up, the stakes seem to get higher every day and there is plenty of drama to go around. I have heard it said that the Chinese character for "crisis" is a combination of the words danger and opportunity, although I think the literal translation is closer to "precarious moment". That would certainly describe where many of us feel we are, sort of like trying to balance on the head of a pin.

The harmonic conversion in 1987 was a turning point in this. Many intuitive people received a calling that earth would undergo a metamorphosis and to prepare for an apococalyptic event that would occur by 2012. Some took that to mean that the sky was about to fall or that a real Y2K was upon us or that the closing of the Maya calendar meant that the end of time was actually the end of us. A lot of really wild explanations have been circulating.

I think it's true that a kind of precarious moment is upon us but I see the dramatic events unfolding on the world stage as having their source within us, internally, at the soul level. That's where the real action is happening as we make the shift to 5th dimensional consciousness. This has been planned for eons and now the stage is set for the Mother of new beginnings.

We are all stressed to the max and many of us do not know who we are anymore, where we are headed or what's next! People just feel strange, empty and unconnected, full of unknown anxiety. Some feel exhausted and unable to sleep and others are experiencing short term memory loss, flu-like symptoms, joint and muscle pain, digestive problems....the list goes on and on. These things aren't permanent and as we move into a higher vibration, most will feel them lift away, much like an ascending hot air balloon.

In order to get there, we have to get in touch with our own issues by cleaning up and clearing out the old thought forms we have created, physically, mentally and emotionally. It's almost like peeling layer after layer of an onion, until we get to the core.

IT IS TIME TO GET IN TOUCH WITH YOUR FUTURE BY CLEANING UP YOUR ACT, AS WE FINISH 2009 AND MOVE INTO 2010

If you can't face your present reality, it is because you can't face all the things you have created, and it's time to get help!! Connect with friends or family, if need be. Perhaps the opposite is true for you and you need to begin setting new boundaries and letting go of people and situations that no longer serve your higher purpose. Or, do it through meditation and prayer, if that floats your boat. Get in touch with your SELF in whatever way you can. Get into your inner heart, be quiet and do not resist change or upheaval. Stop trying to control your life, instead, begin to flow with it. Use your intuition rather than thinking so much.

By fall of this year I see many will be peeking out from their inner sanctums, as we close out the year with several months of action. By doing the clean up work now, you won't feel as much fear and you will be ready to take more steps into the flow. You are in the process of reorganizing, clearing and healing your inner self and when you do that, you will to see the results reflected all around you. You will find that you can balance quite well....on the head of a pin!

THE HUMAN DRAMA

GRATITUDE means to feel appreciation for something you have received. When you express it or when it is expressed to you, the result is pleasing, warm and I think it triggers an optimistic smile at the soul level. Gratitude is a BIG energy stimulator that is too often overlooked.

I suppose it gets overlooked because we are wrapped up in the HUMAN DRAMA. We get stuck in playing out all the day-to-day survival stuff and we end up exhausted at the thought of making lemonade from all those lemons. Who has the time or energy or the motivation to stop and express gratitude when so many of us are running around yelling. "The sky is falling, the sky is falling!"
Silver lining? Skip it! The glass is half full? Stuff it! Look on the bright side? Screw it!
It's tough to feel optimistic about or grateful for anything.

Not so fast....let's not throw the baby out with the bath water! If thoughts are energy. and you
KNOW they are, then maybe it's time to reconsider the value of gratitude. If you quietly add gratitude to every word, touch, thought or experience that makes you feel good, then the energy around and within you will begin to change. Energy is like a giant magnet and you program it in whatever way you choose. You can program it like the rest of the herd and keep screaming about that sky, or you can stand apart, be your unique, wonderful self and program it with gratitude.

Expressing gratitude costs nothing and yet the payoff is an energy jackpot. Gratitude
accelerates energy. Gratitude integrates energy. Gratitude attracts like-energy.

And while you are at it, express a little gratitude for yourself....just for being bold enough to take that step.....just for being here....just for being you.

GUILT

We are often experts in guilt. Certainly we have learned it from masters. We unquestioningly and with great doggedness go about our assigned tasks without a grumble or a reproach. We are armed, however, with our sighs, our clenched teeth, our pathetic looks of "acceptance," and our sagging shoulders. Our favorite phrase is "That's okay," and we really don't mean it. One of our greatest skills is suffering, and we do it so well.

*We get our pound of flesh, and we lose our souls in the process. That's a high trade-off. ahhh
